Deputy Managing Director (DMD)What You’ll Do
- Develop financial strategies that aligns with the bank’s goal and ensure growth while collaborating with other Department Heads to intergrade them into broader business objectives.
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and be accountable for its correctness.
- Liaise with external auditors, regulatory bodies and other senior stakeholders to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Identify, assess, & mitigate financial risks by developing and implementing financial risk management strategies and policies.
- Optimize and monitor bank’s capital structure to enhance financial performance, stability and ensure adequate liquidity.
What You’ll Bring
- Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is a must requirement. CFA, CPA, ACCA or MBA in Finance will be added advantage.
- Minimum 20 (twenty) years of working experience in bank and or FI, with minimum 8 (eight) years’ experience in different senior level operational positions in Financial Administration.
- Strong network within the financial sector and with regulatory bodies.
